What do you tell people you do?
This one is a struggle for me. Graphic Designer has always sounded too PG to me, so I started saying just Designer. I would then get, "Interior Designer?" Maybe I should say a Web Designer, kind of, sometimes. "Oh, so like a Developer?"
...
Maybe I should start saying I flip pizzas.

How long have you been with ODC?
I've been with ODC since mid November '14—strategically timed for a series of long holiday weekends.

What did you do before you arrived?
For the past three years—my entire Chicago existence—I had been steadily honing my craft at the excellent Northside creative agency 50,000feet.

What do you bring to ODC beyond your design skills?
My goal is to integrate some non-developer (and I mean none) design-thinking into the group. Maybe I can turn some -no, we can't do that- into more -let's give it a shot-.

What are you excited about developing as part of the team?
It would be great to absorb some of the various technologies being applied/talked about around here. Until that osmosis process happens, I'll just continue smiling and nodding along.

Name the moment when you realized you were part of the ODC family.
Probably when I realized that I could reply all to an email with a response that would have previously gotten me fired.
